Fairy Ring is a music video service from Eric Roberts and Natalie Bohrn.

We keep our video shoots as simple and free-spirited as can be.

With our highly mobile recording equipment and our love of nature and environmental soundscapes, we create one-of-a-kind live performance videos for fellow musicians in Winnipeg and beyond.

What to expect

• 1-3 songs of yours recorded with one camera in full HD video along with a hifi stereo audio recording made with our super slick field recorder.

• An adventure to 1-2 shooting locations with ambience that suits your songs. (travel cost is included within WPG)

• A pretty nice chill time making some art, all in all.

• Co-publishing on your media channels and ours.

• Edited video files delivered within 1-3 days of shoot.

Rates - $300 for 1 song - $450 for 2 songs - $600 for 3 songs/day

Travel rate outside of Winnipeg 0.58/km

Gritty Details:

• Audio is recorded through 2 microphones positioned out-of-frame in a stereo configuration (mid-side). Our goal is to capture the sound as simply and authentically as possible.

• This usually means less is more when it comes to the musical arrangement/orchestration.

• Think Acoustic! Any instruments or amplifiers that require electricity will have to be battery powered and be quite portable.

• Audio and video are captured in one continuous take. It’s our imperfections that make this art beautiful.

• You’ll probably want to wear somewhat rugged footwear. Think hiking!
